01Sculpt
Start with something in your hands. Alien Clay is oil based, so it never dries out and never cracks. Work it, leave it, come back to it.

Capture it in silicone. Tin cure for general casting, platinum cure when it has to be food safe, alginate when you are moulding a person.

The step people skip and then regret. A release agent is the difference between a clean demould and a ruined mould.

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free to all main centres on orders over R3,000 up to 25kg. Regional and outlying areas pay a subsidised flat rate of R150 on orders over R3,000. Below that threshold, shipping runs on weight brackets starting at R109 to main centres and R185 to regional and outlying areas. Brackets are calculated on physical or volumetric weight, whichever is greater.
How long will my order take to arrive?
To main centres, allow 24 to 72 hours for orders up to 5kg on express road, and 48 to 72 hours for orders over 5kg on economy freight. Regional and outlying areas take 2 to 5 working days. Times run from dispatch, exclude weekends and public holidays, and are an estimate rather than a guarantee.
Which areas count as main centres?
Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth or Gqeberha, East London, Bloemfontein, Nelspruit or Mbombela, George, Pietermaritzburg, Kimberley, Polokwane, the Vaal, Rustenburg, Witbank or eMalahleni, Stellenbosch and Richards Bay. Everything else is regional or outlying. Deliveries to mines, power stations, farms, harbours, game lodges and military bases carry a courier surcharge and need a manual quote before dispatch. Can I collect my order instead?
Click and collect is R28 and runs from the Johannesburg store only, Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 10:00 are ready from 14:00 the same day; orders placed after 10:00 are ready from 09:00 the following day. Bring identification matching the name on the order plus the order number, and the order must be paid online before collection.
What happens if something in my order is on backorder?
The order ships as one consignment once the backordered item is back in stock. If you need the in-stock items sooner, place them as a separate order.
Can I return something if I change my mind?
Tell us within 7 days of delivery and you have a further 7 days to send the goods back for a full refund. Returns after that window carry a 15 percent restocking fee, and nothing is accepted more than one calendar month after the invoice date. Opened containers of resin, hardener, silicone or release agent cannot be returned unless they are faulty or defective.
