Spraymate Metallic spray paint is a lacquer based coating that provides a smooth, durable, metallic finish on wood, metal and more. Suitable for interior and exterior use.
Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area. Use when temperature is between 10-32°C and humidity is below 65% to ensure proper drying. Avoid spraying in windy and dusty conditions. Cover
surrounding area to protect from spray mist.
Application conditions: Surface temperature between 10-32°C
Relative humidity: Between 10% – 85%
Drying time: Surface dry 15- 30 minutes (Dry times will be extended during cold, wet or humid conditions)
Recoating time: Anytime
Clean up: Lacquer thinners
Substrates: Wood, metal, Wicker
Remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt and chemical contaminants with “A” grade lacquer thinners or methylated spirits. Soaps and detergents can also be used but a final clean with a suitable
solvent is recommended. Be sure the substrate is completely dry, remove loose paint and rust with a wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy surfaces.
Shake can vigorously for 1 minute after mixing ball begins to rattle. If mixing ball fails to rattle
DO NOT USE CAN. Contact Spraymate. Hold can upright 20 to 30cm from substrate and spray in steady back and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can in motion whilst
spraying. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart to avoid drips and runes. Do not use near open flame.
Note: Inexperienced operators should practice on scrap surfaces to first get the “feel” for
spray paint application.
Clean valve immediately after use by turning can upside down and depressing the actuator for 3 to 5 seconds (some paint will be sprayed out, so be careful not to inadvertently
spray yourself or other objects in the process)
If the valve clogs, twist and pull off actuator and rinse in lacquer thinners. Do not insert any object into actuator orifice.
