Filler powders are designed to modify the properties of many different types of resin including polyurethane casting resin, polyester resin and gel coat and epoxy resin. The modified resins can be used as  filling and fairing compounds and adhesives. These fillers form three distinct categories: hollow spheres, short fibres, and flow modifiers.
