  • Main Centres (Over 5kg Economy Freight): 48 – 72 Hours.
  • Regional & Outlying Areas: Please allow 2 – 5 working days.

Special Deliveries:

Deliveries to restricted or extreme outlying areas (such as farms, game reserves, mines, power stations, harbours, and military bases) incur automatic courier surcharges and require a manual shipping quote prior to dispatch.

We use Aramex for our nationwide deliveries. With sophisticated track and trace equipment, you can pinpoint exactly where your parcel is, from the moment it is dispatched by us until it is safely handed over to you, the recipient.

We charge a fixed, bracket-based shipping fee for all online orders. Please Note: Shipping is calculated based on the actual physical weight or the volumetric weight of your order, whichever is greater.

Our delivery service only runs from Monday to Friday. Saturday morning deliveries can be done by special arrangement only and at an additional charge (please contact us to arrange).

We reserve the right to re-quote the delivery fee should a shipment become exceptionally bulky or require delivery to a restricted zone.

  • Free for orders R5,000 and more.
  • R200 for all orders less than R5,000.

We offer In-Store Pickup exclusively at our AMT Composites Johannesburg location. Here’s how it works:

  • Availability: In-store pickups are available Monday to Friday.
  • In-Store Collection: R28 per order.
  • Same Day Pickup: Orders placed before 10:00 will be ready for collection from 14:00 on the same day.
  • Next Day Pickup: Orders placed after 10:00 will be ready for collection from 9:00 to 16:00 the following day.
  • Order Amendments: Please note that any changes required to your in-store pickup order upon collection will be treated as a new transaction. The original pickup order cannot be amended.
  • Shipping to Pickup: Orders placed for normal shipping cannot be changed to in-store pickup.
  • Returns: Returns for in-store pickup orders will incur a cost to the customer, based on the courier company’s rates.
  • Proof of Identification: Customers must bring proof of identification (matching the name on the pickup order) and the order number to collect their order. Without these, the order will not be released.
  • Payment: All orders must be paid online before collection. No EFTs or card transactions can be processed at the time of collection. Orders that are not paid will not be released to customers.

Changing your Mind / Right to Cancel

If you change your mind for any reason, goods can be returned to us for a full refund if notified to us within 7 days of delivery; you have a further 7 days to dispatch the goods for their return to us. Goods returned after 7 days will incur a 15% restocking fee of the items being returned.

NO GOODS manufactured or sold by Advanced Materials Technology Pty Ltd will be accepted for a credit if returned after one (1) calendar month of original invoice date.

To return goods that are not faulty (i.e. because you changed your mind) they must be unused and, in the condition, they were delivered to you in. This does mean that, unless found faulty, we are unable to accept returns for:

  • Opened containers of resin, hardener, silicone or chemical release agent, unless found to be faulty or defective.
  • Unrolled and improperly re-rolled fabrics, unless found to be faulty or defective.
  • Any product that you have subsequently cut, shaped, broken or modified, unless found to be faulty or defective.

Refund of Delivery Charges (Cancelled Orders)

If you return an order in its entirety, then your outbound delivery charges will also be refunded (for orders within the South Africa’s Local Area’s.

If you return only part of an order, then the outbound delivery charge refund will be calculated based on the total postage cost of the original order (using standard service) minus the cost to send the items you are keeping (using standard service). Due to the way that shipping costs are incremented, this will often result in no delivery charge refund being due.

Faulty or Defective Goods

Any goods found to be faulty or defective and notified to us within 7 days of delivery can be returned to us for a full refund.

Refund of Delivery Charges (Faulty/Defective Goods)

If you are returning faulty or defective goods, then your outbound and return delivery costs will be refunded in full (for orders from within South Africa’s Local Area’s.)

In the event that you are returning faulty or defective goods which were ordered as part of a larger order then the outbound delivery charge refund will be calculated based on the total postage cost of the original order (using standard service) minus the cost to send the items you are keeping (using standard service).

Whether you are dealing with a minor hairline fracture or a more significant crack, this kit offers a guided, step-by-step approach to restoring your bike’s integrity.

Dual-Layer Reinforcement Technology

Safety and strength are paramount in bicycle repair. This kit utilises a proven two-stage reinforcement process:

  • Uni-directional (UD) Carbon: Used for the primary repair to span the crack and provide targeted longitudinal strength.
  • Twill Weave Carbon: An epoxy-coated outer layer that wraps the repair for multi-axial strength and a classic “carbon fibre” aesthetic.

High-Performance Epoxy System

At the heart of the kit is the Biresin CR122 Epoxy Resin. Designed for composite laminating, this resin ensures deep penetration into the carbon tows and the frame’s existing structure. When followed by an elevated post-cure at 60°C, the repair reaches maximum structural strength, ensuring your frame is ready for the road or trail.

Comprehensive Kit Contents

We’ve included every consumable you need to get the job done right the first time:

  • Carbon Fabrics: 200 x 250mm UD Carbon
  • 500 x 200mm Twill Weave Fabric.
  • Resin System: 250g Epoxy Resin (Biresin CR122) and 75g Hardener.
  • Application Tools: 2 x 25mm Laminating brushes, 10 x tongue depressors, and 5 x 250ml mixing cups.
  • Precision Measurement: 60ml and 20ml syringes to ensure the perfect 100:37 mixing ratio.
  • Finishing Supplies: 120 and 220 grit waterpaper for sanding, plus a roll of insulation tape for compression.
  • Safety: 5 pairs of Nitrile gloves.

Technical Specifications

  • Mixing Ratio: 100 parts resin to 37 parts hardener by volume.
  • Cure Time: Minimum 16 hours at room temperature.
  • Post-Cure (Recommended): 4 hours at 60°C for significantly increased strength.
  • Application: Suitable for most cracked carbon fibre bicycle frames.
  • Expert Tip: For the best results, use the included insulation tape to bind the wet repair tightly. This compresses the carbon layers and squeezes out excess resin, resulting in a lighter, stronger repair.
