Vacuum Bagging Films
A vacuum bag provides pressure and vacuum, which always results in a better quality laminate. Pressure compacts the laminate, providing good consolidation and interlaminar bonds. Vacuum draws out the volatiles and trapped air, resulting in a low void content. Both help to improve resin flow. The latest generation vacuum bags for ambient cure compete on cost with polyethylene sheet, but offer superior performance.

Vacfilm 430
Clear tough, high elongation elastomeric film suitable for debulk operations and oven curing of composites. Max use temp 120°C (oven air temperature must not exceed 130°C)

Vacfilm 200G
Green co-extruded film which is less hydroscopic that mono-nylon films and suitable for use in extremely low and high humidity. Ideal for wet lay-up and infusion processes. Max use temp 120°C

Vacfilm 400Y
Yellow high strength, high elongation film for low temperature applications. Ideal for use in the production of large components, and in wet lay-up and infusion processes. Max use temp 150°C

Violet tough but flexible co-extruded bagging film suitable for high pressure autoclave cures and for use with medium temperature epoxy and phenolic pre-pregs. Max use temp 170°C
