MATERIAL ONE

Material One is a low toxicity, water based resin that can be used for laminating or casting. This solvent less system has little to no shrinkage and a variety of fillers can be added to create natural stone or metal effects. Material One is a two-part material consisting of a mineral crystal base and a water-based acrylic resin. These cross-link to form high strength reacted crystals within an acrylic envelope. Material one is extremely easy to use with a simple mix ratio of 2 parts powder to 1 part resin by weight. Mixing can be done by hand but preferably by the use of shear mixer. Material One can be demoulded within 1 hour of mixing.

Material one is supported by the following auxiliaries and additives:

• M1 Thixotropic agent - Additive to increase viscosity
• M1 Retarder - Increase working time to 60 minutes
• M1 Triaxial glass - specially designed glass fabric for use with Material One
• M1 Pigments - A broad range of pigments
• Fillers - Copper, Brass, Bronze, Marble, Granite and Silica Sands
• M1 Super seal - A high performance sealer for Material One
